Exchange, Return & Refund Policy

At Macieza we value your satisfaction and offer a transparent, fair shopping experience. This policy explains how to return products purchased on our website, in line with Swiss legislation and standard e-commerce practices.

1. Right of Withdrawal

  • Period: You may return products within 14 calendar days of receipt.

  • Conditions: Items must be

    • unused,

    • in their original sealed packaging (if applicable),

    • complete with all accessories, manuals and tags,

    • in perfect resalable condition.

  • Return Shipping: For change-of-mind returns, the customer pays return shipping to Macieza.


2. Defective or Incorrect Items

  • Procedure: Contact us immediately (see Section 3).

  • Costs: If we confirm a defect or shipping error, Macieza covers all shipping costs and will arrange a replacement or refund.

  • Options after inspection:

    • Full refund (including original shipping),

    • Store credit,

    • Exchange for the same item (subject to availability) or an item of equal value.


3. How to Start a Return

  • Contact Customer Service within 14 days:

  • Provide:

    • Order number

    • Detailed reason for return

    • Clear photos of the item and packaging if damaged/defective

  • Await further instructions from our team.


4. Refund Processing

  • Timeframe: Within 10 business days after we receive and inspect the item.

  • Method: Via the original payment method.

  • Original Shipping: Refunded only for defective items or Macieza shipping errors.


5. Items Not Eligible for Return (unless proven defective)

  • Final-sale or clearance items

  • Custom or personalised products

  • Intimate or hygiene items

Any exceptions are clearly noted on the product page.


6. International Returns
Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, import duties, taxes or customs fees; these are non-refundable by Macieza.

2.1 Definitions

We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data-protection law, in particular the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/DSG) and the Data Protection Ordinance (DPO/DSV).


3. Nature, Scope and Purpose of Processing


We process the personal data necessary to carry out our activities on a permanent, user-friendly, secure and reliable basis. Categories of data we process may include:

Data subjects may enforce their rights in court or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

9.1 Cookies

They help recognise browsers, measure reach and support online marketing. Cookies can be disabled or deleted in browser settings; however, parts of our site may no longer function fully.
